Taylor Swift’s loyal army of fans are furious with Kim Kardashian after the reality star appeared to taunt the singer.
On Monday the Love Story singer’s nemesis shared a throwback picture taken from Kanye West’s Famous video with her 105million Instagram followers.
The picture shows a naked lookalike of the singer, who has been dominating headlines since releasing her Reputation album early last month, lying in bed next to the rapper while Kim snaps away.
“Famous,” the mum-of-two simply captioned it.
The post immediately sparked a flurry of furious comments from Taylor fans who slammed the reality star and inundated the post with rat emojis and lyrics from the star’s Reputation album.
When others asked why people were posting rat emojis, some of Taylor’s fans pointed out it’s because snakes eat rats and Taylor infamously found herself being inundated with snake emojis when their feud first erupted.
Since Taylor released Reputation, fans have been speculating over which lyrics were aimed at Kim and Kanye, with many thinking Look What You Made Me Do was a dig at the duo.
Taylor’s carefully painted image as a squeaky-clean pop star was destroyed last year when Kim released a home video on Snapchat – and the snake emoji became code for Taylor online.
Fans worldwide embraced the new nickname and flooded Taylor’s social media with the emoji.
So much so, that her Instagram account became the first to filter unwanted comments and the snake emoji soon vanished.
The feud started when Kim claimed Taylor “totally approved” controversial lyrics to Kanye’s song Famous and accused her of “playing the victim”.
But Taylor remained adamant she never heard the full track before its release and did not realise she would be referred to as “that b**ch”.
Famous referenced Kanye’s interruption of Taylor’s speech when she won a gong at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.
He rapped: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b**ch famous.”
Kanye was in a recording a studio in Los Angeles when he called Taylor in January last year.
While no reference is made to the phrase “that b***h”, Kanye asks Taylor if she is happy with his lyrics and she tells him: “Yeah I mean go with whatever line you think is better.”
The situation was made worse when Taylor ended up at war with her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris after she moved on to Tom Hiddleston within days and took public credit for co-writing his hit This Is What You Came for – despite previously keeping her involvement a secret.
“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” fumed Calvin.
The tweets – which he quickly deleted – resulted in the hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty trending on Twitter.
